Nursery

Welcome to St. Vincent's Nursery!

At St. Vincent's Catholic Primary School, we are excited to offer a nurturing and enriching nursery experience for your child. Starting in September 2025, we will provide a full-time nursery provision designed to prepare children for their transition to Reception. Our experienced nursery staff are dedicated to creating a safe and stimulating environment where your child can grow, learn, and thrive.

Nursery Sessions and Options

Core Morning Sessions:
All children born between 1st September 2021 and 31st August 2022 are eligible for our morning nursery sessions from 8:45 AM to 11:45 AM, Monday to Friday. These sessions are funded by the government and are free to all 3/4 year olds.

New Full-Time Nursery Offer:
We are extremely excited to inform you that from September 2025, we will be offering a full-time, rich nursery experience. This new provision will be delivered by our experienced nursery staff, ensuring continuity and security for children as they prepare to start school in September 2026 with their cohort.

You can choose from the following options based on your child's entitlement:

  • Option 1: 15 hours funding - Morning sessions only (8:45 AM - 11:45 AM).
  • Option 2: 15 hours funding plus additional private payment - Morning sessions with optional lunch and afternoon sessions.
  • Option 3: 30 hours funding - Morning sessions, lunch, and four afternoon sessions per week.
  • Option 4: 30 hours funding plus private payment for one afternoon - Morning sessions, lunch, and all afternoon sessions.

Lunch and Afternoon Sessions:
Lunch sessions are from 11:45 AM to 12:20 PM at a cost of £3.00 per session. Afternoon sessions are from 12:20 PM to 3:20 PM at a cost of £15.00 per session. You can choose as many additional sessions as you like to suit your needs.

Funding and Payments

We accept 30 Hours Funding and Tax-Free Childcare to help cover the cost of the optional extra sessions. For more information and to apply, visit www.childcarechoices.gov.uk. Please provide us with your Eligibility Code, National Insurance number, and TFC Reference if you will be using these schemes.

Fees for optional extra sessions will be invoiced half-termly and can be paid through the ParentMail app. If you have difficulty paying fees, please inform the office immediately.

How to Apply

To secure your child's place in our nursery, please complete the application form below, and returned to either Mrs. Macey or the school office as soon as possible.
